Tanchjim Hana Unboxing

Packaging:

Hana comes with a square-shaped box. Though it looks big in the photo, they actually weren't that big. The appearance of the packaging itself is minimalist & elegant with the dominant colour of white. Like usual, the IEMs specifications was printed at the back of the box, but here the language is fully written Chinese.

In the box:

- 4-core copper cable 0.78mm with 2-pin, 3.5mm jack

- 3 pairs of "Treble enhancing" silicone tips (S/M/L)

- 3 pairs of "Bass enhancing" silicone tips (S/M/L)

- 10 pairs of back up filters

- A white faux leather carrying case

- Manuals, QC card & Warranty card. Plus a name card with the mascot.

Built & Fit:

Housing

Hana's outer shell was fully made of high precision 316 stainless steel with white paint finishing and logos on both sides of the IEMs. These, caused them to be quite heavy when you wore them on your ears, and with the same short nozzle as the Tanchjim Oxygen, it may cause discomfort for some people. But if you had shallow ear, this wouldn't be a problem & they will fit you very well.

Isolation on this also good if you got the right fit since it would cover your whole concha with its shell.

Cable & Eartips

The non-braided 4-core OFC cable included here is pretty soft and thin on hand. But luckily, it didn't feel as fragile. With the combination of cooper, white and rose gold on the connector, splitter and jack, the cable looks minimalistic yet still elegant whether it's attached on the iem itself or not. However, the ear guide here is less stiff compared to other typical chi-fi cables, so it will be good for those who dislike grippy ear hook.

The eartips provided by Tanchjim is in two types, bass enhancing tips, which will have a narrower bore and the treble enhancing with a wider bore. Each type of tips was given 3 pairs in different sizes. The tips are pretty soft but it's a bit thick, so they will comfortable on the ear. Personally, I never use the wide bore tips on Hana, because it causes the fit to be less secure compared to when I'm using the bass tips. Instead, I used the treble tips on my Blessing2 last time.

Carrying Case

The white faux leather carrying case provided is solid. It isn't too big, but the space of the case isn't as big as it looks from outside. Even more, the interior of the case was using cloth-based, unlike other similar chi-fi faux leather case, which made them a bit more premium in my opinion.
